Warped figurative...
I express my artistic streak in the same way with painting (oil on canvas) and plastic art (wood and other materials, especially clay). My first personal exhibition (paintings and clay sculptures) took place in 1991 at the monastery of St. Maria in Isola Vicentina (VI): the warped and suffered figurative style highlights the essentiality of drawing and the search for expressiveness. There is often a shadow around my characters, a dark outline depriving man of freedom, as a chain. Natural world seems to take part to this suffering, too.
